No, a physician’s referral is not required for any services.
If you are a new member, then a free 15-minute call with Dr. Mossad is required to determine whether virtual therapy is appropriate and whether are the right fit for you. Click HERE to book your 15-minute consult. Once the 15-minute consult is completed, we will send you your log in information to book your first appointment through the member’s portal.

In accordance with the Ontario Psychological Association, fees for psychological services are not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). However, many extended health insurance plans reimburse all or part of the fees for psychological services.
The set fee for psychological services is $280 per 50 minutes of treatment.
Payment for service is due at the end of each session. Please note that a valid credit card on your account is required but will only be charged at the end of the session. You will be provided with an invoice immediately following your session to submit to your insurance company.
When you book an appointment, this time slot is allotted specifically for you, including prepared material and treatment plan. Therefore, please provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel an appointment. Apart from extenuating circumstances, any late cancellations (less than 48 hours notice or later than Friday at 5pm if you have a Monday appointment), you will be charged the full fee of the session.
The process is as follows:

Book a free 15-minute consultation, where you will be able to meet Dr. Mossad and determine if her services are the the right fit for your needs and ask any questions regarding treatment. Dr. Mossad will also ask you some questions to determine if online (virtual) treatment is appropriate for you or your child. Following this appointment, Dr. Mossad will provide you with log in information to the member’s portal where you can book sessions.

Session 1 (Intake): Dr. Mossad will meet with the parents, child or youth to get a clinical history and assess the targets for psychological treatment. You do not need to prepare for this session. During this session, Dr. Mossad will provide you with a road map of her recommended treatment plan based on evidence from research as well as your preferences and needs.

Treatment sessions: You will work with Dr. Mossad during the sessions on your goals. Dr. Mossad will provide you with information on what we worked on as well as exercises to practice.

Final session and maintenance plan: At the end of treatment, Dr. Mossad will provide you with a summary of what we have worked on, along with all the skills you’ve acquired in treatment. We will create a plan to maintain these skills so they continue to be a part of your life in the future.
